Omegix the Vanguard won Cool's Dueling Tournament, and what really impressed me was the soloing capability of an Assault spec build. This week I managed to get the 4-pc Champion Eliminator set bonus (thanks to my failed BM bag drops), so I have been experimenting with Carolina Parakeet (21/2/18) and All-Out DPS (4/6/31). Here's a sample clip of my Vanguard streamrolling 2 Imps. Note that I did use an HP pot and Expertise adrenal. The TTK was fantastic.

We dueled for several hours, and over time it became more and more apparent that latency differences and hitbox size have a significant impact on PVP outcomes.

My opponent had CCs that I didn't have, e.g. the channeled stun and knockback/knockdown. On top of that, he got the opener. Taking down a higher-level class as a lowbie is much easier when you can melee strafe to move in and out of your opponent's range to charge and avoid channeled abilities. See my Guide on Strafing and Keybinding: http://taugrim.com/2011/04/07/guide-to-strafing-movement-and-keybindings/

Some guy was trolling in my Chat Room after a close Voidstar match. My moderators and I keep a troll-free Chat Room to support good dialogue between players. Normally we just ban trolls, but I noticed the telling "tv" letters at the end of his name, so after I banned him I took a look at his channel. See what we find out in the video :)

I queued up with a guildee (Salvex, 16 Guardian) and two folks from Chat Room (Kawnee 23 Sawbones Scoundrel, 16 Jonathen Sawbones Scoundrel) on the last night of SWTOR Beta. This highlight video is a Huttball match that our team won 5-2. You can pass in Huttball by activating the pass ability and then targeting the GTAOE on / near an allied player.

We were down 140-320. Even with 2 nodes we weren't going to catch up. Therefore, I went after the 3rd node with my 14 Shadow, ninja'd it, then denied a level 50 from capping it back. Late in the match I knew the East node was likely in trouble so I swung over in time to help friendlies hold it.

The most ridiculous comeback ever. Empire was outplaying us badly but we 3-capped to win with only 5 HP left on our ship
